BYLAW - Amend 2213 78 (220 Old Yonge St.) - 20000912 - 420900D(Orianna and Werner Brodbeck) THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 4209-00.D BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2213-78 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. That the zoning category applying to the lands shown in shading on Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law is hereby amended from "Rural General (RU) Zone" to "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2) ·Zone", "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2-69) Exception Zone," and "Detached Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl) Zone." 2. THAT the following be added as Section 11.71 "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2-69) Exception Zone." 11.71 Notwithstanding the provisions of Sections 11.1 through to 11.2.3, the minimum Lot Frontage shall be 14.50 metres. All other provisions of Sections 11.1 through to 11.2.3 shall apply. 3. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. OF SUBJECT LANDS TO BE REZONED J 1\U E u 0 FROM RU F TO R1 FROM RU TO R2 SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW NO. 4209-00.0 Explanatory Note Re: Zoning By-law No. 4209-00.D By-law Number 4209-00.D has the following purpose aud effect: To amend By-law 2213-78, the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora, to rezone the subject lauds being Part of Lot 85, Concession 1, E.Y.S., municipally known as 220 Old Yonge Street from "Rural General (RU) Zone" to "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2) Zone", "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2-69) Exception Zone," aud "Detached Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl) Zone." The subject lauds are currently being used aud will continue to be used as a residence. On July 6, 2000, the Committee of Adjustment approved the severance of two residential building lots which will have frontages along Old Yonge Street, subject to the approval of this By-law. Therefore, this By-law will implement the aforementioned.
