BYLAW - Exempt Certain Blocks on Plan 68 From Part Lot Control - 19990721 - 408099DBY -LAW NUMBER 4080-99.D OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA BEING A BY-LAW to exempt certain blocks on Registered Plan 68 in Aurora, from the Part Lot Control provisions as provided in subsection 50 ( 5) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.l3 (as amended). (Diamond 3) WHEREAS subsection 50(7) of the Planning Act, R.S.O: 1990, c.P.13 (as amended) provides that the Council of a local Municipality may by by-law provide that the part lot control provisions as provided in subsection 50(5) of the said Act do not apply to the land that is within a registered plan of subdivision; u888886 AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora considers it desirable to enact a by-law pursuant to the said Act exempting the lands hereinafter described from the said part lot control provisions; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. Subsection 50(5) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.l3 (as amended) shall not apply to the following lands: Part of Lot 16 south side of Metcalfe Street, Plan 68A as in R556900 Town of Aurora, Regional Municipality of York more particularly described as follows: COMMENCING at a point in the southerly limit of Metcalfe Street a distance easterly 25 feet 8 inches from the north-west angle of Lot 16; THENCE South 12 degrees 50 minutes East, 173 feet 5 inches to the South limit of said lot number 16; THENCE West along the South limit of said lot, 42 feet 8 inches to the south-west angle of lot number 16; THENCE North 7 degrees, 15 minutes West, 17 4 feet 5 inches to the southerly limit of Metcalfe Street; THENCE East along Metcalfe Street 25 feet 8 inches to the place of beginning. As previously decribed in Instrument #467 465. 2. This By-law shall take effect upon the approval of the Council of the Town of Aurora, and the registration of the By-law in the proper land registry office. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. 3.
