WHEREAS Section 50(3) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. P.13, as amended, the "Planning Act" authorizes the Council of a local municipality to pass by-laws to designate part of any plan of subdivision that has been registered for eight years or more, not to be part of a plan of subdivision for subdivision control purposes; AND WHEREAS the municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems it necessary, expedient and advisable to pass a By-law in order to adequately control the development of land in the municipality; NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the following lands be and are hereby deemed not to form part of a plan of subdivision for the purposes of Subsection 50(3) of the Planning Act: Lots 1 , 2 and 3, north side of Metcalfe Street Lot 3, west side of Wells Street Trinity Church Lot, east side of Victoria Street all on Registered Plan 68 Town of Aurora, Regional Municipality of York 2. THAT Staff are required to provide notice of the enactment of this By-law to each owner of land to which the By-law applies in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act. 3. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force upon the final passage thereof and following registration in the proper land Registry Office.
