BYLAW - Conveyances of Land - 19991013 - 411599LTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 4115-99.£ BEING A BY-LAW to authorize the conveyances of land being Parts of Block 164, Plan 65M-2977 (Harner and Mansour). WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. M.45 (as amended) authorizes Council to enact by-laws for disposing of municipally owned land; AND WHEREAS Council deems it expedient to convey certain lands to the two (2) adjacent owners in order to provide land increases to the side yards of their properties and thereby accepting ownership of an existing retaining wall situated on the lands being conveyed; AND WHEREAS the provisions of the Municipal Act and Land Sale By-law 3613-95.A have been complied with; NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the land described on Schedule "A" hereto is hereby declared to be surplus land; 2. THAT Council does hereby authorize the conveyances of said lands to the adjacent owners, Thomas and Nadia Harner and Joe and Anna Mansour on the terms and conditions set out in Town of Aurora Report C099-046. 3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all documentation required in connection with the conveyance thereof; 4. THAT this By-law shall come into force and effect upon fmal passage thereof. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 13'h DAY OF OCTOBER, I999.
