BEING A BY-LAW to
authorize the conveyance
of land being Part of
Block A and Block B,
PlanM-51.
WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. M.45 (as amended) authorizes Council to
enact by-laws for disposing of municipally owned land;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it expedient to convey certain lands to the adjacent owner
in exchange for the acceptance ofland from the adjoining owner;
AND WHEREAS the provisions of the Municipal Act and Land Sale By-law 3613-95.A
have been complied with;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the land described on Schedule "A" hereto is hereby declared to be surplus
land;
2. THAT Council does hereby authorize the conveyance of said land to the adjacent
owner, Bricon Construction Limited on the terms and conditions set out in Town of
Aurora Report C099-033.
3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all documentation
required in connection with the conveyance thereof;
4. THAT this By-law shall come into force and effect upon final passage thereof.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 21sT DAY OF JULY, 1999.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 25TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1999.
