BYLAW - Amend By laws 3261 91 and 3642 95.E - 19990825 - 410799ETHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 4107-99.E BEING A BY-LAW to amend Refuse Collection and Disposal By-laws Numbered 3261-91 and 3643-95.E WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-laws Numbered 3261-91 and 3643-95.E. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: I. That Section 6.5 of By-law 3261-91 is hereby repealed and replaced with the following: 6.5 The number of Containers put out for collection from any residential premises shall not exceed three (3) for each collection day. 2. That By-law 3643-95.E is hereby amended by the deletion therefrom of existing Schedule "B". 3. That By-law 3261-91 is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following Schedule "B" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law as follows: (a) Schedule "B" to By-law 3261-91 Intermittently Collected Refuse. 4. That the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and effect upon final passage on February 29, 2000. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 25rn DAY OF AUGUST, 1999. READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 25m DAY OF JANUARY, 2000. B. PANIZZA, MUNICIPAL CLERK SCHEDULE "B" TO BY -LAW NO. 4107-99.E INTERMITTENTLY COLLECTED REFUSE 1. White goods including: 2. refrigerators freezers stoves washers dryers water heaters dishwasher air conditioners swing sets barbeques (excluding propane tanks) bath tubs other recyclable metals with all doors removed. A maximum of three (3) items to be collected per collection location. Organic yard materials including: leaves shrubs branches weeds garden plants flowers provided such material are placed in clean, open, rigid, reusable waste containers (ie. garbage cans, bushel baskets) or clear plastic bags. Shrubs and branches to be tied in bundles not exceeding 1.2 metres (4 feet) in length and branches not exceeding 100 millimetres ( 4 inches) in diameter. Each container or bundle not to exceed 23 kilograms (SO lbs.) with an aggregate weight not to exceed 114 kilograms (250 lbs.) for containers or bundles per collection location. Materials not included are stumps and root balls; food and kitchen wastes; and fruit and vegetables.
