THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA

BEING A BY-LAW to amend
By-law No. 22I3-78
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law No. 2213-78 as amended.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as
follows:
1) THAT the zoning category applying to the lands shown in shading on Schedule "A"
attached hereto and forming part of this By-law is hereby amended from "Holding (H)
Zone" to "Semi-Detached and Duplex Dwelling Third Density Residential (R3-8a)
Exception Zone".
2) In addition to the requirements of the R3-8 Exception Zone, pertaining to Building
Specifications (Section 12.10.2.3), the subject lands identified as R3-8a Exception
Zone shall include the following additional building specifications:

Single Garage width (minimum) (inside per unit)
Single Garage length (minimum) (inside per unit)
2.9 metres
6.0 metres
3) No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act
have been complied with but subject to such provision, the By-law will take effect
from the day of passing thereof.

By-law 4123-99.D has the following purpose and effect:
Location
The lands are located in the Town of Aurora on Arnberhill Way being Block 16, Plan 65M-
3039
Purpose and Effect
To amend By-law 2213-78, as revised, the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora
from "Holding (H) Zone" to "Semi-Detached and Duplex Dwelling Third Density Residential
(R3-8a) Exception Zone"
The purpose of the amendment is to permit the expansion of the existing R3-8 zone to
accommodate one semi detached dwelling on a vacant parcel of land. In addition the new
Town standards pertaining to interior garage dimensions of 2.9 metres minimum width and
6.0 metres minimum length have been applied to the subject lands.

I, Bob Panizza, hereby certify that the notice for By-law #4123-99.D of the Corporation of the
Town of Aurora, passed by the Council of the Corporation on the 9th day of May, 2000, was
given on the 15th day of May, 2000, in the manner and form and to the persons prescribed by
Ontario Regulation 199/96, as amended, made by the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under
subsection (18) of section 34 of The Planning Act (1990). I also certify that the 20 day appeal
period expired on the 5th day of June, 2000, and to this date no notice of appeal of the By-law has
been filed by any person in the office of the Clerk.
