BYLAW - Conveyance of Land Blocks 37 38 Plan 65M3222 - 19880723 - 397098THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 3970-98.L BEING A BY-LAW to authorize the conveyance of land being Blocks 37 and 38 on Registered Plan 65M- 3222. WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. M.45 (as amended) authorizes Council to enact by-laws for disposing of municipally owned land; AND WHEREAS Council deems it expedient to convey certain lands to the adjacent land owners in order to complete the configuration of their lots as set out on the approved draft plan of subdivision; AND WHEREAS the provisions of the Municipal Act and Land Sale By-law 3613-95.A have been complied with; NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the land described on Schedule "A" hereto is hereby declared to be surplus land; 2. THAT Council does hereby authorize the sale of said land to the adjacent land owner, J. A. Developments Inc., in the amount of $2.00 on the terms and conditions set out in Town of Aurora Report C098-042. 3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all documentation required in connection with the sale thereof; 4. THAT this By-law shall come into force and effect upon final passage thereof. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 23RD DAY OF JULY, I998.
