BYLAW - Conveyance of Land - 19981014 - 398698LTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 3986-98.L BEING A BY-LAW to authorize the conveyance of land being Part of Blocks 34 and 36, Registered Plan 65M-3123. WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. M.45 (as amended) authorizes Council to enact by-laws for disposing of municipally owned land; AND WHEREAS Council deems it expedient to convey certain lands to the adjacent subdivision developer in order to provide a land increase for a .proposed bridge; AND WHEREAS the provisions of the Municipal Act and Land Sale By-law 3613-95.A have been complied with; NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora ENACTS AS FOL~OWS: 1. THAT the land described on Schedule "A" hereto is hereby declared to be surplus land; 2. THAT Council does hereby authorize the sale of said land to the adjacent subdivision developer, Fernbrook Homes (Stonebridge) Limited on the terms and conditions set out in Town of Aurora Report C098-057. 3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all documentation required in connection with the sale thereof; 4. THAT this By-law shall come into force and effect upon final passage thereof. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 23m DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1998. READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 14" DAY OF OCTOBER, 1998. L.
