BYLAW - Authorize Conveyance of Land SW Corner of Industrial Pkwy N. and St. Johns Sideroad - 19970625 - 385097LTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 3850-97.L BEING A BY-LAW to authorize the conveyance of land for the Aurora Montessori School WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. M.45 (as amended) authorizes Council to enact by-laws for disposing of municipally owned land; AND WHEREAS Council deems it expedient to convey a certain land to the adjacent land owner so that it may be included in that owner's proposal to construct an Aurora Montessori School: AND WHEREAS the provisions of the Municipal Act and Land Sale By-law 3613-95.A have been complied with; NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the land described on Schedule "A" hereto is hereby declared to be surplus land; 2. THAT Council does hereby authorize the sale of said land to the adjacent land owner, 1148059 Ontario Inc. in the amount of $15,000 on the terms and conditions set out in the Offer Purchase executed by the purchaser on June 2, 1997. 3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all documentation required in connection with the sale thereof; 4. THAT this By-law shall come into force and effect upon final passage thereof. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 25TH DAY OF JUNE, 1997. READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 23RD DAY OF JULY, 1997.
