OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to exempt certain lots on
Registered Plan 107 in Aurora, from the Part Lot
Control provisions as provided in subsection 50 (5) of
the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.l3 (as amended).

WHEREAS subsection 50(7) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.l3 (as amended) provides that
the Council of a local Municipality may by by-law provide that the part lot control provisions as
provided in subsection 50(5) of the said Act do not apply to the land that is within a registered plan
of subdivision;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora considers it desirable to
enact a by-law pursuant to the said Act exempting the lands hereinafter described from the said part
lot control provisions;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows:
1. Subsection 50(5) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.l3 (as amended) shall not apply to

This By-law shall take effect upon the approval of the Council ofthe Town of Aurora, and
the registration of the By-law in the proper land registry office. No part of this By-law will
come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with, but
subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.
This By-law shall lapse after a period of two years from the day of passing.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 25TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1996.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 9TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1996.

Instrument No. R687232 is a by-law exempting the property from part lot control, which by-law
lapsed on October 9, 1998. Although the Planning Act does provide that the by-law expires at the
time period specified in the by-law, the Land Registrar has its own rules on how to remove these
documents from title.
The Land Registrar is requesting production and registration of an Application to Amend the Register
deleting the said by-law and they specifically require the Application to contain the signature(s) of
the appropriate Town officials.
Therefore, would you kindly arrange to have the enclosed Application executed by the appropriate
parties and return two executed copies to me for registration. Thank you for your cooperation in this
matter.
