BYLAW - Amend By law 2213 78 (Aurora Montessori) - 19960925 - 375096DAurora Montessori School THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA By-law Number 3750-96.D BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2213-78 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: I) THAT the zoning category applying to the lands shown in dark outline on Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law, is hereby amended, for a period of no longer than three years from the date of passing of this By-law, from "Rural (RU) Zone" to "Institutional (I-5) Exception Zone" and "Holding (H) Zone", more particularly described on Schedule 'K' attached hereto and forming part of this By-law. 2) THAT Schedule "K" is hereby added to By-law 2213-78 . . 3) THAT Section 28 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section 28.3.5 "Institutional (I-5) Exception Zone": "The existing two storey building, the two portable classroom building with enclosed connecting walkway, and the two portable classroom building with connecting vestibule/washrooms, on the lands shown zoned I-5 on Schedule "K", shall be used for a Commercial, Private or Public School for a period of no longer than three years from the date of passing of this By-law." 4) No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing hereof. SCHEDULE "K" TO BY-LAW NO. 3750-96.0 D y Explanatory Note Re: Zoning By-law Number 375.0-96.0 By-law 3750-96.0 has the following purpose and effect: To amend By-law 2213-78, the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora, to rezone the subject lands, being Part of Lot 80, Concession I EYS, located at the southwest comer of Bayview Avenue and Wellington Street East, from "Rural (RU) Zone" to "Holding (H) Zone" and "Institutional (I-5) Exception Zone" on a temporary basis. The amendment is to permit the continuation of the current rural use of the eastern portion of the site and the use of the existing two storey building and two portable classroom buildings on the western portion of the site for a school for a period not to exceed three years from the date of passage of the By-law. After such time, Town. I also certify that the 20 day objection period expired on 28th day of October, 1996, and to this date no notice of objection to the By-law has been filed by any person in the office of the Clerk.
