By-law Number 3690-95. C
BEING A BY-LAW to amend
By-law 3609-95. C, a By-law to
govern the procedures of the
Council of the Town of Aurora
and its Committees and Boards.
WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.M. 45, (as amended, the "Municipal Act")
authorizes a municipal Council to enact By-laws for governing the conduct of Council Members;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed necessary to amend subsection (a) of Schedule "D" to By-law
3609-95. C with respect to the number and composition of citizen representatives on the Business
Development Committee;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora ENACTS
AS FOLLOWS:
I. THAT subsection (a) of Schedule "D" to By-law 3609-95.C is hereby amended to provide
that not less than four and not more than "seven" citizen representatives may be appointed
by the Council and to provide that one of the seven citizen representatives shall be a
nominee recommended by the Aurora Chamber of Commerce from its current Board of
Directors; and
2. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and effect upon third
reading thereof.
