BYLAW - Amend 2213 78 (Celta Construction) - 19950712 - 364495D(Celta Construction) BY -LAW NUMBER 3644-95.D OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2213-78 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. That the zoning category applying to the lands shown in shading on Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law is hereby amended from "General Industrial (M2) Zone" to "General Industrial (M2-6) Exception Zone". 2. That Section 26 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section 26.4.7: "General Industrial (M2-6) Exception Zone". 26.4.7.1 Uses Permitted -all uses permitted in a Restricted Industrial (Ml) Zone -bakeries -food processing plants -manufacturing establishments including primary processing, fabrication or assembly of materials -plumbing shops -warehousing -ancillary retail uses -contractor's supply operations -electrical shops - a gymnasium catering primarily to athletic programs and activities for minors provided that the floor area devoted to the use does not exceed 700 square metres. 26.4.7.2 Zone Requirements 26.4.7.2.1 Lot Specifications In accordance with Section 26.2.1 26.4.7.2.2 Siting Specifications In accordance with Section 26.2.2 26.4.7.2.3 Building Specifications In accordance with Section 26.2.3 26.4.7.3 Outside or Open Storage Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 26.3, no open or outside storage shall be permitted. 26.4.7.4 Parking Notwithstanding the provlS!ons of Section 6.26.1, the m1mmum required parking shall be 51 spaces. 26.4.7.5 Loading Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 24.2, the minimum required number of loading spaces shall be 1. 3. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF YORK LOCATION: PART 4, PLAN SSR-3453 D SUBJECT LANDS REZONED FROM M2 TO M2-6 M2 M2-6 SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW NO. 3644-95.0 Explanatory Note Re: Zoning By-law 3644-95.0 By-law 3644-95.0 has the following purpose and effect: To amend By-law 2213-78, the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora, to rezone the subject lands, being Part 4 Plan 65R-3453, Part Lot 77 Concession 1 E.Y.S., municipally known as 6 Vata Court, from "General Industrial (M2) Zone" to "General Industrial (M2-6) Exception Zone". The rezoning is to permit the use of a maximum of 700 square metres (7534 square feet) of floor area for a gymnasium catering primarily to athletic programs and activities for minors. The amendment also deletes outside storage, heavier industrial and auto related uses from the list of uses currently permitted on the lands, establishes the existing 51 parking spaces as the minimum requirement and reduces the number of required loading spaces from 3 to 1.
