BYLAW - Land Aquisition (Industrial Pkwy) - 19920610 - 340292BY-LAW NUMBER 3402-92 OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA BEING A BY-LAW to authorize the acquisition of land for the purpose of extending Industrial Parkway North and adding to the neighbouring open space. WHEREAS the Town has acquired Block 27, Plan 65M-2873 as future open space; WHEREAS the Town has acquired easement over Parts 3, 4, 9 and 10, Plan 65R-15947 for servicing purposes (abutting the said open space to the west) and has installed services thereon; AND WHEREAS the Town wishes to: (a) acquire Parts 8 and 9, Plan 65R-15947 for the purpose of extending Industrial Parkway North to St. John's Side Road; (b) acquire Part 1.0, Plan 65R-15947 to protect the existing services already installed, and to add to the said open space; (c) acquire easements over Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4, Plan 65R-15947 for storm drainage, water management, and servicing purposes; and (d) acquire Parts 5, 6, 7 and 11, Plan 65R-15947 as one foot reserves. THEREFORE under Section 193(1} of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 302, as amended, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora hereby enacts as follows: 1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk of the Town are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate the acquisitions referred to in the preamble herein, upon terms satisfactory to them, at no cost to the Town other than incidental and legal expenses, for the purposes therein set out. 2. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreements or other documents as may be reasonably necessary to evidence, obtain and register title to the said properties and easements. 3. THAT the provision of this Bylaw shall come into force and effect upon final passage therein. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS lOth DAY OF JUNE ' 1992.
