BY-LAW NUMBER 3265-91
A BY-LAW TO DEDICATE CERTAIN LANDS
FOR THE PURPOSES OF A PUBLIC HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS the lands hereinafter described were acquired by the former The
Corporation of the Township of King for highway purposes and became vested in The
Corporation of the Town of Aurora on the 1st day of January, 1971 by virtue of the
Regional Municipality of York Act and the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of The Corporation of the Town
of Aurora as follows:
1. The lands described in Schedules "A" and "B", hereto attached, are
hereby dedicated as a public highway and declared to form part of
Bathurst Street (YR 38).
2. The said Schedules "A" and "B", hereto attached, shall form part of this
by-law.

SCHEDULE "A" -BY-LAW 3265-91
Lands in the Town of Aurora in The Regional Municipality of York formerly
in the Township of King in the County ofYork and being composed of part of Lots 71
and 72 in Concession 1 more particularly described as follows:
PREMISING that all bearings herein are astronomic and are referred to the meridian
passing through the Southwest corner of Lot 6, Concession 2, of the said Township
of King;
COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of the said Lot 71;
THENCE South 10 degrees 08 minutes East along the Westerly limit of the said Lot,
677.26 feet to a point;
THENCE North 73 degrees 09 minutes East, 10.07 feet to an iron bar planted;
THENCE North 10 degrees 08 minutes West, 550.75 feet to a point;
THENCE North 79 degrees 52 minutes East, 22.00 feet to an iron bar planted;
THENCE North 10 degrees 08 minutes West, 205.45 feet to an iron bar planted in
the curved Southerly limit of the lands of the Canadian National Railway Company;
THENCE Southwesterly along the said curve to the left, having a radius of 1883.08
feet, an arc distance of 36.38 feet to its intersection with the Westerly limit of Lot 72;
THENCE South 10 degrees 08 minutes East, 62.82 feet more or less to the point of
commencement.
The said parcel contains by admeasurement 0.271 acre ofland and is further shown
outlined in red on part of a Plan of Survey by Roger R. Weisman, Ontario Land
Surveyor, dated December 9, 1964 and attached to Instrument No. 39681B.
The above noted lands were previously described in Instrument No. 39681B.

Lands in the Town of Aurora in The Regional Municipality of York formerly
in the Township of King in the County of York and being composed of part of Lot 71
in Concession 1 described as follows:
PREMISING that the bearings of all lines referred to in this description are
astronomic and are referred to the meridian passing through the Southwest corner
of Lot 6, Concession 2, Township of King;
COMMENCING at the Southwest corner of the said Lot 71;
THENCE North 72 degrees 47 minutes East, 10.08 feet to an iron bar planted;
THENCE North 9 degrees 49 minutes West, 83.87 feet to a point;
THENCE North 10 degrees 08 minutes West, 589.49 feet to an iron bar planted;
THENCE South 73 degrees 09 minutes West, 10.07 feet to a point in the Westerly
limit of the said Lot;
THENCE South 10 degrees 08 minutes East along the said limit, 588.29 feet to a
bend in the said limit;
THENCE South 9 degrees 49 minutes East, 85.14 feet more or less to the point of
commencement.
The said parcel containing by admeasurement 0.155 acre ofland.
The above noted lands were previously described in Instrument No. 67539B.
