MEMORANDUM

TO: L. Allison, Municipal Clerk
FROM: B.W. Bowes, Director of Public Works
DATE: September 25, 1991
RE: Walton Drive Restrictions
Witb regard to your August 15th, 1991 memo on street parking restrictions along Walton Drive,
a review of tbe residents concerns has been undertaken by Public Works.
We have received only two concerns from residents as a result of your July 15th notice both of
which requested no parking for the entire length of Walton Drive. There is currently no parking
on one side only for the majority of Walton Drive and our review of the situation does not
support any revisions of these restrictions.
I've attached a memo from the Manager of Design Services recommending proceeding with By-
law #3316-91 without further amendment which I support.

MEMORANDUM
TO: L. Allison, Municipal Clerk
FROM: M. Dutschek, Manager of Design Services
DATE: September 23, 1991
RE: Walton Drive Parking Restrictions
Further to your memo of August 15, 1991, we have investigated the concerns of the two
residents who responded to your notice.
Both residents felt parking should be restricted for the entire length of Walton Drive. We do
not feel this would be appropriate as this would be highly inconvenient for many of the residents
while not alleviating any particular traffic concern (such as poor visibility in the curve section
of Walton).
We therefore recommend By-law #3316-91 proceed without further amendment.
