BYLAW - Amend 2213 78 (Priestly) - 19910424 - 327491.,. . ' (Priestly Holding Corp.) BY-LAW NUMBER 3274-91 OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2213-78 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. That Schedule "A" is hereby amended by changing the zoning category on the lands shown in shading on Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-law from "General Industrial (M2-3) Exception Zone" to "Restricted Industrial (M1-7) Exception Zone". 2. That Section 25 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section 25.11 "Restricted Industrial (M1-7) Exception Zone". "Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 25.1 respecting Uses Permitted, the lands shown zoned M1-7 on Schedule "A" may be used for a data processing centre with offices accessory to the data processing centre in accordance with the following: i) A maximum of 800 square metres of floor area of the existing building may be used for a data processing centre. ii) For purposes of this section, data processing centre means a building or part of a building used for information storage and retrieval through the use of electronic computers, the production of computer programs, word processing and the maintenance of records including corporate accounts and cheque processing. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 6.26, the minimum parking requirement for a data processing centre shall be 4.5 spaces for each ninety (90) square metres of the facility involved with the data processing; plus one (1) space for each ninety (90) square metres of the facility used for storage purposes. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 24.2.7, the setback from the street line for a loading space on the lands shown zoned M1-7 on Schedule "A" shall be 26.94 metres". 3. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Pl~ng Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. ALLISON, CLERK Page 4 of Bylaw No. 3274-91 Explanatory Note Re: Zoning By-law By-law327~1has the following purpose and effect: To amend By-law 2213-78 the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora to rezone subject lands being Part of Lot 105, Registered Plan 246, municipally known as 73 Industrial Parkway North from "General Industrial (M2-3) Exception Zone" to "Restricted Industrial (M1-7) Exception Zone". The amendment is to recognize and allow an expansion of an existing data processing use with incidental offices within the existing building.
