OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2213-78
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
NOW Ts:REFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as
follows: ·
1. That ·s edule 'A' is hereby amended by changing the zoning category on the lands
shown~· shading of Schedule 'A' attached hereto and forming part of this By-law
from " stricted Industrial (M1) Zone" to "Restricted Industrial (M1-8) Exception
Zone".
2. That Section 25 is hereby amended by adding the following as S~ction 25.12
Restricted Industrial (M1-8) Exception Zone":

"Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary, Units 3 to 6 inclusive and Units 20
and 21, York Condominium Corporation 797, may be used for the uses permitted
under Section 25.4.1 in addition to those permitted under Section 25.1. All other
provisions of Sections 25.1, 25.2 and 25.3 shall apply".
No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act
have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect
from the day of passing thereof.

Explanatory Note
Re: Zoning By-law
By-law)J;U?I has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 2213-78 the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora to rezone the
subject lands, being Lot 23 and Part of Lot 22, Registered Plan M-2012, municipally known
as 305 Industrial Parkway South from "Restricted Industrial (Ml) Zone" to "Restricted
Industrial (Ml-8) Exception Zone".
The Amendment is to permit six units within the existing building, namely Units 3 to 6
inclusive and Units 20 and 21 of York Condominium Corporation 797 to be used for the
following service industrial uses, in addition to the permitted industrial uses:
business and professional offices, excluding medical offices
'banks, restaurants and recreational facilities including arenas, curling rinks
and private clubs, bowling alleys, swimming pools, banquet facilities, roller
skating rink
ancillary retail uses
any use permitted in "Restricted Industrial (Ml) Zone"

AFFIDAVIT UNDER SECTION 34 (20) OF THE PLANNING ACI' (1983)
I, Lawrence Allison, hereby certify that the notice for By-law 3322-91 of
the Co:rporation of the Town of Aurora, passed by the Council of the
Co:rporation on the 9th day of October, 1991 was given on the 15th day
of October in the manner and fonn and to the persons prescribed by Ontario
Regulation 404/83, made by the Lieutenant Governor-in-council under
subsection 17 of section 34 of The Planning Act (1983). I also certify that
the 20 day objection period expired on November 4, 1991 and to this date
no notice of objection to the by-law has been filed by any person in the
office of the Clerk.
