I also certify that the 20 day objection period expired on October lOth, 1991 and to this date no notice of objection to the by-law has been filed by any person in the office of the Clerk. (Gateway) BY -LAW NUMBER 3319-91 OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2213-78 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. That Section 23.3.2 is hereby amended by deleting the contents of that section and replacing them with the following: 23.3.2 The lands shown zoned C4-2 may be used only for the following uses: -automobile service centre -banks or financial establishments -bowling alleys -business and professional offices -clinics -commercial clubs -drug stores -dry cleaning establishments -libraries, post offices and government administrative offices -laundries -nursery schools -medical and dental laboratories -places of entertainment -personal service shops -restaurants -take-out restaurants -retail stores -supermarkets - 1 apartment suite per shopping centre for caretaker accommodation in accordance with the provisions of Section 7.4 Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary, for the purposes of the C4-2 zone, the following definitions shall apply: Restaurant, Take-out: means a building or part thereof where food is prepared and served to the public for consumption off the premises and which may contain incidental seating areas for consumption within the building but shall not include a 'Drive-Thru Restaurant'. Restaurant, Drive-Thru: means a building or part thereof where food is prepared and served to the public while in motor vehicles by means of an order or window service which vehicles approach in designated lanes. 2. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. ALLISON, CLERK Explanatory Note Re: Zoning By-law By-law 33}1-11has the following purpose and effect: To amend By-law 2213-78 the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora to amend the provisions of the "Shopping Centre Commercial (C4-2) Exception Zone", applying to Block B Registered Plan 517, municipally known as 126 Wellington Street West, to add 'Take-out Restaurants' and delete "gasoline bars and automobile washing establishments" from the list of permitted uses. For the purposes of the subject lands, the By-law adds the following definitions: Restaurant, Take-out: means a building or part thereof where food is prepared and served to the public for consumption off the premises and which may contain incidental seating areas for consumption within the building but shall not include a 'Drive-Thru Restaurant'.
