BY-LAW NUMBER 3196-90
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to authorize the
transfer of Lot 80, Plan 65M-2380.
(Heron Homes (Aurora) Ltd.)
WHEREAS by virtue of the fact that the Corporation of the Town of Aurora
no longer requires temporary access in accordance with the terms of a
Subdivision Agreement registered in the Land Titles Office for York Region
as Instrument No. LT 283139, and pursuant to Section 193 of the Municipal
Act, R .S .0. 1980, Chapter 302, as amended, the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora has agreed to reconvey those lands municipally known as 31
Wethersfield Court, Aurora, being Parce.l 80-1, Section 65M-2380, being Lot
80, Plan 65M-2380, Town of Aurora, Regional Municipality of York (the
"Lands") to Heron Homes (Aurora) Ltd.
AND WHEREAS in consideration of the aforesaid reconveyance Heron Homes
(Aurora) Ltd. has agreed to pay to the Corporation of the Town of Aurora the
purchase price of TWO ($2.00) DOLLARS, (receipt and sufficiency of which is
hereby duly acknowledged).
NOW THEREFORE the Counci 1 of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That the Lands are no longer required by the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora for municipal purposes.
2. That the Lands be transferred to Heron Homes (Aurora) Ltd. for the
consideration of Two ($2.00) Dollars and in accordance with the terms
of a Subdivision Agreement registered in the La rid Titles Office for
York Region as Instrument No. LT 283139.
3. The Town Solicitor is hereby authorized to cause a copy of this By-law
to be registered against the Lands in the proper registry office.
4. The Town Clerk and the Mayor are hereby authorized to sign and execute
under seal of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora all documentation
necessary to effect the disposition of the Lands to Heron Homes
(Aurora) Ltd.
5, That the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and effect
upon final passage thereof.
