BY-LAW NUMBER 3203-90
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to dedicate
certain lands as a public park.
WHEREAS the provisions of Section 208(51) of the Municipal Act R.S.O.,
1980, Chapter 302, as amended, provide that Council may enact By-laws laying
out public parks;
AND WHEREAS, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems it
expedient to dedicate the lands legally described as Part of Lots 6, 7 and
8, Part of Reserve, Registered Plan 1B, Town of Aurora, Regional
Municipality of York, designated as Part 2 on Reference Plan 65R-6062, and,
Part of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, west side of Gurnett Street, Part of Lot 6, 7
and 8, west side of Gurnett Street, Part of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, east side
of Yonge Street, Part of Reserve, Registered Plan 1B, Town of Aurora,
Regional Municipality of York, designated as Parts 1 to 11 inclusive on
Reference Plan 65R-6064 and set out on the Reference Plan attached hereto as
Schedule ''A" as a public park.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
the following by-law:
1. That the lands situate lying and being in the Town of Aurora and being
composed of Part of Lots 6, 7 and 8, Part of Reserve, Registered Plan
1B, Town of Aurora, Regional Municipality of York, designated as Part 2
on Reference Plan 65R-6062, and, Part of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, west
side of Gurnett Street, Part of Lot 6, 7 and 8, west side of Gurnett
Street, Part of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, east side of Yonge Street, Part
of Reserve, Registered Plan 1B, Town of Aurora, Regional Municipality
of York, designated as Parts 1 to 11 inclusive on Reference Plan
65R-6064 be and are hereby dedicated a public park.
2. That the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and be
effective upon final passage thereof and when the registration of the
By-law in the proper Land Registry Office has been effected.
