OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law
3013-88 as amended, a By-law to
prohibit or regulate the erection
of signs; and the posting of
notices in buildings or vacant
lots in the Town of Aurora.
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Town of Aurora has enacted By-law
3013-88 pursuant to Section 210 of the Municipal Act R.S.O. 1980, Chapter
302 as amended;
AND WHEREAS it is now deemed expedient to amend the prov1 s1 ons of the
By-law to permit site specific signage on the lands known as 89 and 99 Yonge
Street South;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Town of Aurora ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Section 8, signs permitted in Commercial Zones be and is
hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following:
8.2 Notwithstanding the provi,si ons of Section 8.1 (b) one
ground sign shall be p~rmitted to service the lands
municipally known as 89' and 99 Yonge Street South in
accordance with the specifications appended hereto as
Schedule "A". '
8.3 Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 8.1 (a) wall
s1gns, canopy signs and awning signs permitted in
Commercial Zones, the erection of such signage on the lands
municipally known as 89 and 99 Yonge Street South is
prohibited.
2. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and effect
upon final passage thereof.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 25th DAY OF JULY ' 1990.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 29th DAY OF AUGUST ' 1990.
