BY-LAW NUMBER 3231-90
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No.
2879-86, a By-1 aw to estab 1 ish the
office and define, limit and
determine the duties and
responsibilities of the Clerk.
WHEREAS Section 77 of the Municipal Act R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 302
authorizes the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora, by By-law,
to appoint a Clerk whose duty it is to carry out the functions set forth in
that section;
AND WHEREAS it is the duty of the Clerk to carry out other statutory
functions and it is the desire of Council to assign other duties to the
Clerk;
AND WHEREAS the Muni ci pa 1 Co unci 1 deems it expedient to amend By-1 aw No.
2879-86;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council enacts as follows:
1. THAT clause 6 be deleted and a new clause 6 be inserted to read as
follows:
6. THAT Lawrence A 11 i son be, and is
hereby appointed Clerk of the
Corporation of the Town of Aurora.
2. THAT this By-law shall come into force and take effect upon the 15th
day of October, 1990.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 26th DAY OF SEPTEMBER ' 1990.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 10th DAY OF October ' 1990.
