BYLAW - Amend 2855 86 - 19900829 - 321790BY-LAW NUMBER 3217-90
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE 'IDWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2855-86,
a By-law to designate a site plan control
area.
WHEREAS the provJ.sJ.ons of Section 40 (2) of the Planning Act S.O. 1983, as
amended, provide that Council may by By-law designate the whole or any part
of an area shown in an official plan as a proposed site plan control area,
as a site plan control area;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Aurora has enacted By-law 2855-86
on the 16th day of June 1986 pursuant to the provisions of said section;
AND WHEREAS it is now deemed expedient to amend the provJ.sJ.Ons of By-law
2855-86;
NOW ~RE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That subsections i) and ii) of By-law 2855-86 be deleted and new
subsections i) and ii) be inserted to read as follows:
i) all Cl, C2, C3, C4, C5 and C6 zones;
ii) all M1, M2, M3, M4 and M5 zones;
2. That subsection iii) of By-law 2855-86 be deleted and a new subsection
iii) be inserted to read as follows:
iii) all R5 zones used for cOill!lE!rcial purposes and where I!IOre
than 4 dwelling units are to be constructed.
3. That a new subsection viii) be added to the provisions of By-law
2855-86 such section to read as follows:
viii) all RU zones with the exception of lands used for
agriculture and/or detached residential purposes.
4. That the provisions of this By-law shall came into force and be
effective upon final passage thereof.
