BYLAW - Agreement Re. Recycling - 19900228 - 316790BY-LAW NUMBER 3167-90
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to authorize the
execution of an agreement with Her
Majesty the Queen, In Right of the
Province of Ontario, as
represented by the Minister of the
Environment.
WHEREAS Council has previously sanctioned the implementation of a
curbside Blue Box Recycling Program within the Town of Aurora;
AND WHEREAS the Ministry of the Environment requires the Muni ci pa 1 i ty to
enter into an Agreement prescribing the terms and conditions related to the
financial assistance provided therefore;
AND WHEREAS the said Agreement is appended to Report ADM90-005-059
considered and approved by the Council of the Town of Aurora.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora:
1. THAT the hereinbefore recited Agreement dated February 1990 and
related to the recycling of waste materials be approved.
2. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to sign the hereinbefore recited Agreement and to affix
thereto the seal of the Corporation.
3. THAT the provisions of this By-law come into force and effect
upon final reading thereof.
