BYLAW - Dedicate Lands as Highways - 19890222 - 306789BY-LAW NUMBER 3067-89
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to dedicate certain
lands for the purposes of public highways
WHEREAS the 1 ands hereinafter described were acquired by the former the
Municipality of the Township of Whitchurch for highway purposes and became
vested in the Corporation of the Town of Aurora on the 1st day of January,
1971 by virtue of the Regional Municipality of York Act and the Municipal.
Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284;
THEREFORE the Counci 1 of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as
follows:
1. The lands described in Schedule "A", hereto attached, are hereby
dedicated as public highways and declared to form part of Leslie
Street (YR 12) and Wellington Street East (YR 15).
2. The said Schedule "A", hereto attached, shall form part of this by-law •
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 8th DAY OF February • 1989.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 22nd DAY OF February • 1989.

Schedule "A" to By-law 3067-89
Lands in the Town of Aurora in the Regional Municipality of York, formerly
in the Township of Whitchurch in the County of York, being composed of Part
of Lot 21 in Concession 3 of the said Town more particularly described as
follows:
COMMENCING at the Southwest corner of said Lot where an iron bar has been
planted;
THENCE Easterly along the road allowance between Lots 20 and 21, 10 feet
and 1 inch to a point;
THENCE continuing Easterly along the road allowance between Lots 20 and
21, 200 feet to a point;
THENCE Northerly and parallel to the West limit of said Lot, 10 feet and 1
inch to an iron post planted;
THENCE Westerly and parallel to the road allowance between Lots 20 and 21,
200 feet to an iron post planted;
THENCE Northerly and parallel to the West limit of said Lot, 90 feet to an
iron post planted;
THENCEWesterly and parallel to the South limit of said Lot, 10 feet and 1
inch to the Westerly limit of said lot;
THENCE Southerly along the Westerly limit of said Lot, 100 feet and 1 inch
to the point of commencement.
The above-described lands were previously described in Instrument No. 26508.

1. By-Law Number 3066-89 dedicating the lands described
in Instrument No. 106868 as part of Leslie Street
( YR 12) was registered in the Land Registry Office
for the Registry Division of York Region on the
7th March, 1989 as Instrument No. 500326.
2. By-Law Number 3067-89 dedicating the lands described
in Instrument No. 26508 as part of Leslie Street
( YR 12) and part of Wellington Street East ( YR 15)
was registered in the Land Registry Office for the
Registry Division of York Region on the 7th March,
1989 as Instrument No. 500322.
