BYLAW - Aquisition of Lands - 19890921 - 313889BY-LAW NUMBER 3138-89
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to authorize the
acquisition of lands for Municipal
purposes.
WHEREAS the lands being Parts 1 and 16 on Plan 65-13645 are required for
municipal purposes;
AND WHEREAS it is desirable for the orderly development of Parts 2, 3, 4,
15, and 17 on Plan 65R-13645 to enter into a pre-Development Agreement with
the owners, Gordon Schmidt and Elizabeth Schmidt;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to complete the purchase of Parts 1
and 16 on Plan 65R-16345 from Gordon Schmidt and Elizabeth Schmidt at
a purchase price of $500,000.00 per acre in accordance with the terms
of the Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A".
2. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the pre-Deve 1 opment
Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "B" dated the 22nd day of
September 1989.
