OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY -LAW to amend By-1 aw 2215-78,
as ame~ded, P By-law for the licensing and reg1strat1on of dogs.

WHEREAS the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacted By-law
2215-78 pursuant to the provisions of the Dog Licensing and Live Stock and
Poultry Protection Act;
AND WHEREAS it is now deemed expedient to amend the provisions of the said
By-1 aw to prescribe a schedule of fees under which the 1 i cens i ng of dogs
pursuant to the By-law shall occur;
NOW THEREFORE the Muni ci pa 1 Corporation of the Town of Aurora ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Section 8 of By-1 aw 2215-78 be and is hereby repea 1 ed and the
following substituted therefore:
8. Every licence issued pursuant to this By-law shall expire on
the 1st day of February of the year following the year in
request of which it was issued and the licence fee to be paid
to the Corporation of the Town of Aurora set the time of the
issuing of the licence shall be in accordance with Schedule
'A' of the By-law.
2. THAT Schedule 'A' appended hereto shall form a Schedule to By-law
2215-78.
3. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force and effect
upon fi na 1 passage thereof, and for the purposes of issuing 1 i cences
for 1989 shall be deemed to come into force and effect upon the 1st
day of January, 1989.

READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 22nd DAY OF March ' 1989.
