BYLAW - Amend 2213 78 (Twinkle Light) - 19890926 - 316089'--' (Twinkle Light.) BY-LAW NUMBER 3160-89 OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TaVN OF AURORA BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2213-78 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78. ·- NCM THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the 'Ibwn of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. That the zoning category applying to the lands shown in shading on Schedule 'A' attached hereto and forming part of this By-law is hereby amended from "Holding (H) Zone" to "Major Open Space (0) Zone", "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2-36) Exception Zone", and "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2) Zone". 2. That Section 11 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section 11.38 "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2-36) Exception Zone 11 : "Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 11.2.2, the minimum interior side yard abutting the eastern property line shall be 3 metres. All other provisions of Section 11.1 and 11.2 shall apply." 3. No part of this By-law will cane into force until the provisions of the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. ' SCHEDULE ·A·To BY-LAWN~ 314>-D-~4 THIS IS SCHEDULE " " TO BY-LAW N! 3/"Io -~~ z._J; DAY 0 0F ~~~:-::=;;--/JI9 .$L I - 2 - Explanatory Note Re: Zoning By-law cJ f £ (}' -:S J By-law has the following purpose and effect: ~ amend By-law 2213-78 the zoning by-law in effect in the Town of Aurora to rezone the subject lands, being Part 1, Plpn 65R-2748, located on the south side of Kennedy Street West to the west of Murray Drive, from "Holding (H) Zone" to "Major Open Space (0) Zone", "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2) Zone" and "Detached Dwelling Second Density Residential (R2-36) Exception Zone". The rezoning is to facilitate a severance of the lands to create three detached residential building lots and a major open space block to be used for a stonn water detention pond. The "R2-36" zone provides for a minimum side yard setback of 3 metres (9.8 feet) abutting the eastern property line to ensure protection of the floodplain lands.
