BYLAW - Amend 2213 78 (Romano) - 19890524 - 307189·' ·~·---~· -- BY-LAW NUMBER 3071-8 9 OF THE CORPORATION OF .THE TOWN OF AURORA BEING A BY-LAW WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78, NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows: 1. That Section 25.8 is hereby deleted and replaced with the following: 2. SECTION 25.8 -RESTRICTED INDUSTRIAL (M1-4) EXCEPTION ZONE 25.8.1 The lands designated M1-4 which are part of Lot 11, Concession II, fronting on the north side of Bloomington Road, may be used for the following: warehousing and storage facilities wholly contained within an enclosed building. offices and caretaker's quarters ancillary to the above use. The gross floor area of all buildings located on the subject property shall not exceed 11,000 square metres. All the zone requirements of Section 25.2 shall apply to the subject lands. No part of this By-law will come into force until the prov1s1ons of the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof. J.~ \ '' < I ' ·~~ .Q00119 EXPLANATORY NOTE Re: Zoning By-law Jol{-89 By-law Number~o7f -89 has the following purpose and effect: To amend By-law 2213-78, the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora, to permit an increase in the floor area of the public storage units located on the lands shown below. Currently, the Restricted Industrial (M1-4} Exception Zone permits public warehouse storage facilities which are wholly contained wtihin an enclosed building, whereby the floor area does .not exceed 4000 square metres (43,057 square feet}, Offices and caretakers' quarters ancilliary to the use are also permitted.
