BY-LAW NUMBER 3135-89
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE 'lUiVN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2213-78
~ it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
NCW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That the zoning category applying to the lands shown in dark outline
on Schedule 'A' attached hereto and fonning part of this By-law is
hereby amended, for a period of no longer than three years from the
date of the passing of this By-law, from "Rural General (RU) Zone" to
"Institutional (I-5) Exception Zone" and "Holding (H) Zone" more
particularly described on Schedule 'K' attached hereto and fonning
part. of this By-law.
2. That Schedule 'K' is hereby added to By-law 2213-78.
3. That Section 28 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section
28.3.5 "Institutional (I-5) Exception Zone":
"The existing building on the lands shown zoned I-5 on Schedule
'K' may be used for a Corrmercial, Private or Public School for a
period of no longer than three years from the date of passmg of
this By-law."
4. No part of this By-law will came into force until the prov~swns of
the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.

Explanatory Note
Re: Zoning By-law
By-law J/3)-t"i has the following purpose and effect:
To arrend By-law 2213-78 the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora to
rezone the subject lands, being Part Lot 80, Concession I E.Y.S. located at
the south west corner of Bayview Avenue and Wellington Street East, from
"Rural General (RO) Zone" to "Holding (H) Zone" and "Institutional (I-5)
Exception Zone" on a temporary basis. The arrendrnent is to pennit the
continuation of the =rent rural use of the eastern portion of the site and
the use of the existing structure on the western portion of the site for a
school for a period of three years frcrn the date of passage of the By-law.
After such tine, Town Council may choose to pennit the use to be continued
or have the lands return to their formar pennitted use.

I, Lawrence W. R. Allison, hereby certify that the notice for By-law 3135-89
of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora, passed by the Council of the
Corporation on the 13th day of September 19 89 was given in
the manner and form and to the persons prescribed by Ontario Regulation
404/83, made by the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under subsection 17 of
section 34 of The Planning Act (1983). I also certify that the 20 day objection
period expired and to this date no notice of objection to the by-law has been
filed by any person in the office of the Clerk.
