BYLAW - Amend 2213 78 - 19891025 - 314589BY-LAW NUMBER 3145-89
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TCmN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-law No. 2213-78
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
J'iO'/ THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That Section 3.92 "Business Office" is hereby amended by adding the
W:Jrds "and a temporary sales trailer and/or office" to the end of this
section following the W:Jrds "telegraph office".
2. That Section 3 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section
3.92 (i).
"Tei!J?Orary Sales Trailer and/or Office:
· means a building or part of a building used for the offering of lots
and/ or dwelling units for sale to prospective purchasers, incidental
to the construction of new housing developnents."
3. That Section 6 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section
6.26.1.4(i).
"Notwithstanding any other provJ.sJ.ons, where a temporary sales trailer
and/or office is the exclusive use of a property, the mininu.un parking
requirement shall be calculated on the basis of 10 spaces for each 90
square metres of ccmnercial floor area of the building, and in no case
shall be less than 15 parking spaces. "
4. That Section 22.1 is hereby amended by adding "temporary sales
trailers and/or offices" to the list of uses pe:rmitted.
5. No part of this By-law will came into force until the provJ.sJ.ons of
the Planning Act have been canplied with, but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.

Re: Zoning By-law
By-law 3145-B!ba.s the following purpose and effect:
To amend the following sections of By-law 2213-78, as amended:
1. Section 3 (Definitions)
o to provide a definition of "Terrpora:ry Sales Trailers and/ or
Offices" and to amend the definition of "Business Office" to include
Terrpora:ry Sales Trailers and/or Offices.
2. Section 6 (General Provisions)
o to establish min:irnum parking requirements where tempora:ry sales
trailers and/or offices are the exclusive use of a property.
3. Section 22 (Service Ccmnercial (C3) Zone (Urban)
o to add "Tempora:ry Sales Trailers and/or Offices" to the list of
permitted uses.
