OF THE CORPORATION OF THE 'KmN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
NeW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the 'Ibwn of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That the zoning category applying to the lands shown in hatching on
Schedule 'A' attached hereto and fanning part of this By-law is hereby
amended from "Detached Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl) Zone"
and "Detached Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl-2) Exception
Zone" to "Detached Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl-17)
Exception Zone" •
2. That Section 10 is hereby amended by deleting Section 10.4 "Detached
Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl-2) Exception Zone".
3. That Section 10 is hereby amended be adding the following as Section
10.19 "Detached Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl-17) Exception
Zone":
"Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 10.2.1, for the lands zoned
Rl-17 the min:i.rrn.un lot frontage shall be 27 metres and the min:i.rrn.un lot
area shall be 1,340 square metres. All other prov1.swns of Section
10.1 and 10.2 shall apply."
4. No part of this By-law will cane into force until the provisions of
the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.

Explanatory Note
Re: Zoning By-law
By-law has the following purpose and effect:
Tb amend By-law 2213-78 as amended, the Zoning By-law in effect in the Tbwn
of Aurora to rezone the subject lands being I.Dt 8, Plan ,65M-2304 and Part
lDt 31, Plan 246 from "Detached Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl)
Zone" and "Detached Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl-2) Exception
Zone" to "Detached Dwelling First Density Residential (Rl-17) Exception
Zone". The amendment is to facilitate the severance of the lands to create
two residential lots with frontages of 27.43 metres (89.9 feet) and areas of
1,344 and 1,497 square metres (.33 and .37 acres).

of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora, passed by the Council of the
Corporation on the 28th day of JUNE , 19...§1__ was given in
the manner and form and to the persons prescribed by Ontario Regulation
404/83, made by the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under subsection 17 of
section 34 of The Planning Act {1983). I also certify that the 35 day
objection period expired on AUGUST 2nd •1989 and to this date no notice
of objection to the by-law has been filed by any person in the office of the
Clerk.
