BY-LAW NUMBER 3033-88
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH PLANNING
FEES FOR THE TOWN OF AURORA.
WHEREAS Section 68(1) of the Planning Act 1983 authorizes the Council of
a Municipality to prescribe, by by-law, a tariff of fees for the
processing of applications made in respect of planning matters;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems it expedient to
prescribe such tariffs;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora enacts as follows:
1. THAT the following tariffs shall apply to all applications made in
respect of planning matters:

Official Plan Amendments -$450.00
Zoning By-law Amendments -$300.00
Subdivision and
Condominium Applications
Site Plan Agreements
(commercial, industrial,

-$300.00 minimum plus $50.00 per lot
to a maximum of $2,000.00.
Administrative costs will be
charged to the applicant.
-$500.00 first and last submission
($100.00 for each additional
submission)
$500.00 minimum, including first
20 units -$25.00 per unit over 20
units for the first and 1 ast
submission
$100.00 for each additional
submission
Registration fee of $250.00 for all Site Plan Agreements
(payable upon Council approval of Site Plan)
(minor amendments to
existing Site Plan

-will be treated as a new submission

-$350.00
THAT all Applicants shall· pay all additional processing costs
related to a Hearing before the Ontario Mtmicipal Board when the
Hearing is caused by a third party and not a difference of opinion
between the Town and the Applicants.
3. THAT By-1 aw 2650-84 and all subsequent amendments thereto be and
are hereby repealed.
4. This By-law shall come into force and effect upon final passing
thereof.
