BY-LAW NUMBER 2996-88
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1) That Section 23.2. 2.1 is amended by de 1 eti ng the contents of that
section and replacing them with the following:
23.2.2.1 Notwithstanding the minimum front and sideyard requirements
specified in Section 23.2.2, for the lands zoned C4#1 located
at the north west corner of Murray Drive and Yonge Street,
the minimum front yard shall be zero and the minimum interior
side yard shall be 6 metres.
2) No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of
the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.

Explanatory Note
Re: Zoning By-law 2996-88
By-law has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 2213-78 the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora to
reduce the required front yard setback from 12 metres (39.37 feet) to zero
and the required interior side yard from 7.5 metres (24.~eet) to 6.0 metres
(19.69 feet) on the lands zoned C4#1 shown below. Th amendments are to
permit an addition to the existing plaza which would e tend the northern
structure eastward to the Yonge Street property line. The proposed expansion
would be aligned with the northern wall of the existing structure and with
the Metropolitan Store.
