A BY-LAW to temporarily close
Street, within the Town of Aurora,
parade.
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to temporarily close up and stop traffic on
a portion of Yonge Street (Highway No. 11) in the Town of Aurora on Sunday,
November 29, 1987, for the Santa Claus Parade;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Town of Aurora ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Yonge Street (Highway No. 11) be temporarily closed up to
through traffic in the Town of Aurora, on Sunday, November 29, 1987,
from the Henderson Drive/Allaura Boulevard intersection and the
intersection of Aurora Heights Drive/Mark Street from 2:00 p.m. to
4:00 p.m.; and
2. THAT the York Region Pol ice and the Town of Aurora Public Works
Department be empowered to do all acts of assisting traffic during
this time period to allow the safe movement of the parade on Yonge
Street and alternate traffic routing.
3. THAT the provisions of this by-1 aw will come into force and effect
upon the final passage thereof and when the approval of the Ministry
of Transportation and Communications has been received.
