BYLAW - Sale of Lands - 19870304 - 289887BY-LAW NUMBER 2898-87
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPROVE THE SALE
OF CERTAIN LANDS TO DAVID-PAUL
HOLDINGS INC. FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT
AND CARRYING ON OF AN INDUSTRIAL
OPERATION.
WHEREAS, this Corporation is now seized and possessed of the lands
mentioned in Schedule "A" appended hereto;
AND WHEREAS, by virtue of Paragraph 210(5) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1980, Chapter 302, this Corporation is empowered to sell lands for municipal
purposes and speci fica lly to sell 1 ands for the purposes of sites for the
establishment and carrying on of industries or industrial operations and
uses incidental thereto;
AND WHEREAS, the lands mentioned in Schedule "A" are to be sold by this
Corporation for the development of an industrial site;
AND WHEREAS, David-Paul Holdings Inc. has agreed to purchase the lands
mentioned in Schedule "A" for the development of an industrial site;
AND WHEREAS, this Corporation entered into an Agreement of Purchase and
Sale made the 28th day of November, 1986 to David-Paul Holdings Inc.
respecting the sale of the lands mentioned in Schedule "A".
NOW THEREFORE, The Municipal Corporation of The Town of Aurora hereby
enacts as By-Law No. 2898-87 of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora the
following:
1. That the lands mentioned in Schedule "A" be sold and conveyed to
David-Paul Holdings Inc.;
2. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign and execute under
the seal of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora the Agreement of
Purchase and Sale made the 28th day of November, 1986 between this
Corporation and David-Paul Holdings Inc. respecting the lands
mentioned in Schedule "A''; and
3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign and execute under
the seal of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora all documents
necessary to effect the sa 1 e of the 1 ands mentioned in Schedule
"A" by this Corporation to David-Paul Holdings Inc.
