BY-LAW NO. 2931-87
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
Being a By-law to repeal
By--laws 2672-84 and 2758-85,
By:-:laws to establish reserve
fund for 'the Town of Aurora.
WHEREAS the provisions of Section 165 of the Municipal Act
RS01980 Chapter 302, as amended, permits Council to pass
By-laws establishing reserve funds.
AND WHEREAS the provisions of Town of Aurora By-laws
2672-84 and, 2758-85 established a Municipal Building Reserve
Fund and a Community Building Reserve Fund respectively;
AND WHEREAS the Council now deems it expedient to repeal
the aforementioned By-laws and to establish a Capital Reserve
Fund.
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Counicl of the Town of Aurora
ENACTS as FOLLOWS:
l. THAT By-law No. 2672-84 enacted and passed on the 16th
day of April, 1983, be and is hereby repealed.
2. THAT By-law No. 2758-85 enacted and passed on the 3rd
day of June, 1985, be and is hereby repealed.
3. THAT the final balances presently contained within the
Municipal Building Reserve Fund, Administration and
Equipment Reserve Fund, Community Building Reserve Fund
and Vehicle Replacment Reserve Fund shall be merged together
into an account named the Capital Reserve Fund.
4. THAT the provisions of this By-law shall come into force
and be effective upon final passage thereof.
