BY-LAW NUMBER 2926-87·
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY -LAW TO AMEND BY -LAW 2891-87,
A BY-LAW TO DESIGNATE THE PROPERTY KNOWN
MUNICIPALLY AS 54 YONGE STREET NORTH AS
BEING OF ARCHITECTURAL AND HISTORICAL
VALUE OR INTEREST
WHEREAS Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, 1980 authorizes the
Council of a municipality to enact by-laws to designate real property,
including all buildings and structures thereon, to be of architectural or·
historic value or interest;
AND WHEREAS Council of The Corporation of the Town of Aurora has enacted
By-law 2891-87 designating Horton Place at 54 Yonge Street North as being
of architectural and historic value or interest;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora now deems
it expedient to amend Schedule "A" appended to the said By-law 2891-87;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora enacts as follows:
1. That Schedule "A" to By-law No. 2891-87 enacted on the 4th day
of March, 1987 is hereby deleted and same is replaced by Schedule
"A" appended hereto.
2. That the provisions of this By-1 aw sha 11 come into force and be
effective upon formal passage thereof.

All and Singular that certain parcel of land and premises situate lying and
being in the Town of Aurora, in the Regional Municipality of York (formerly
in the County of York}, and being composed of Part of Lot 14, according to a
Plan registered in the Registry Office for the Registry Division of York
Region as Number 246.
