BY-LAW NUMBER 2900-87
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to ratify and confirm
various land transactions in the Town of
Aurora.
WHEREAS by virtue of Section 193(1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980,
Chapter 302, this Municipal Corporation is empowered to acquire land for the
purpose of this Corporation and to dispose of land when it is no longer
required;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the Town of
Aurora enacts as follows:
1. THAT the acceptance by this Municipal Corporation of a conveyance of
that part of Lots 77 and 78, Concession I, Lot 86 and Part Lot 87,
Registered Plan 246, which lands are more particularly described as
Parts 1 and 2 on Reference Plan 65R-1046 from Willi am Wa 1 ter Wood by
deed dated December 5, 1973 registered as Instrument No. 150206 be
ratified and confirmed;
2. THAT the execution and delivery by this Municipal Corporation of a
conveyance of that part of the Town of Aurora in The Regional
Municipality of York, being composed of Part Lot 77, Concession I in
the former Township of Whitchurch in the County of York now in the
Town of Aurora more particularly described as Part 4 on a Plan filed
in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of York North at
Newmarket as Plan 65R-1260 further described as Part 13 on Registrar's
Compiled Plan 10328 to John Edward Howard Jeffs and Janice Mary Jeffs
by a grant dated February 16, 1978 and registered on June 19, 1978 as
Instrument No. 224344 be ratified and confirmed; and
3. THAT the provisions of this by-law shall come into force and be
effective upon final passage thereof.
