OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A ZONING BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That Schedule 'A' is hereby amended by changing the zoning category
applying to the lands shown in dark outline on Schedule 'A' attached

hereto and forming part of this By-1 aw from "RU -Rura 1 Genera 1" to
"0-4 Major Open Space Exception Zone'' and ''RR-2 Rural
Residential Exception Zone'' as shown on Schedule 'A'.
Section 8 is hereby amended by adding Section 8.4 "RR-2 -Rural
Residential Exception Zone".
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 8 the lands shown zoned
"RR-2" maybe used for two residential dwellings provided that such
dwellings are located no closer than 22 metres from any property line
and that the dwellings have a minimum floor area of 185 square metres.
3. Section 31.3 is hereby amended by adding Section 31.3.4.
"The lands shown zoned 0-4 Major Open Space Exception Zone may be used
for a tennis club comprising the following: an indoor tennis and
squash court building and clubhouse consisting of an area no greater
than 5,500 m2; 13 outdoor illuminated tennis courts; 4 outdoor
non-illuminated tennis courts and swimming pool."

Parking: The minimum number of parking spaces shall be 127.

4. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of
the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.

Re: Zoning By-Law 2902-87
By-Law 2'go2-87 has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 2213-78 the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora to permit the following:
That the lands shown below in Figure 1 zoned "RR-2" may be used for 2 residential dwellings provided that such dwellings
are located no closer than 22 metres (73 feet) from any property line and that the dwellings have a minimum of 185 square
metres (2,000 square feet).
That the lands shown below in Figure 1 zoned "0-4" may be used for a tennis club comprising o2 the following: an indoor
tennis and squash club building and clubhouse consisting of an area no greater than 5,500 m (60,000 square feet), 13
outdoor illuminated courts, 4 outdoor non-illuminated courts and a swimming pool. The indoor tennis and squash building
and clubhouse are subject to the following siting specifications.

of objection to the by-law has been filed by any person in the office of the
Clerk.
