BYLAW - Amend 2213 78 (Shimen) - 19870420 - 289587BY-LAW NUMBER 2895-87
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1) That Schedule 'A' is hereby amended by changing the zoning category
applying to the lands shown in shading from "Environmental Protection
(EP) Zone" to "Environmental Protection (EP-2} Exception Zone" and
"Environmental Protection ( EP-3) Exception Zone" as shown on
Schedule 'A' attached hereto and forming part of this by-law.
2) Section 30.3 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section
30.3.3
"Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 30.1 respecting Permitted
Uses, the existing building on the lands designated "EP-2'' on Schedule
'A' may be used for business or professional offices excluding medical
offices. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 6,26 the minimum
parking aisle width shall be 0.8 metres. Notwithstanding the
provisions of Section 6.31.2 the minimum width of the required
planting strip shall be nil."
3) Section 30.3 is hereby amended by adding the following Section 30.3.4
''Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 30.1 the lands zoned
"Environmental Protection (EP-3) Exception Zone" may be used for a
detached dwelling existing on the date of passing of this by-law.
4) No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of
the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.

Explanatory Note
Re: Zoning By-law 2895-87
By-law 2895-87 has the following purpose and effect:
To amend Zoning By-law 2213-78 as amended to change the zoning category on
the lands shown below from "Environmental Protection (EP) Zone" to
"Environmental Protection (EP-2) Exception Zone" and "Environmental
Protection (EP-3) Exception Zone". The lands shown zoned EP-2 may be used
for business or professional offices excluding medical offices in accordance
with the following provisions:
1) The minimum parking aisle width shall be 0.8 metres (2.6 feet).
2) The minimum width of planting strip shall be nil.
The lands shown zoned "EP-3" may be used for a detached dwelling existing on
the date of the passing of this By-law.
