Re: Zoning By-law
By-law has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 2213-78 the Zoning By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora to
permit the following:
That the zoning category on the lands shown below is changed from "Service
Commercial (C3) Zone (Urban)" to "Service Commercial (C3-4) Exception Zone
(Urban)". The former zoning permitted the fa 11 owing uses:
-animal hospitals
-antique shops
automobile service stations and service centres
-automobile washing establishments
-clinics
-convenience retail stores
-dry cleaner's distribution depots
-dry cleaning establishment (2597-83)
-gasoline bars
-garden and nursery sales and supply establishments
-hotels, motels and tourist homes
-motor vehicle and trailer sales areas
-public garages, mechanical
-public transportation terminals
-restaurants and take-out restaurants
-supermarkets
-retail stores accessory to the above
-business or professional offices
-retail stores
-commercial clubs
-service shops, personal
-service shops, light
-banks or other financial institutions
one apartment dwelling unit in accordance with the provisions of Section 7.4
-outside storage in accordance with the provisions of Section 19.3 may be
permitted in conjunction with an above noted permitted use.
The new zoning will add the following as permitted uses: business or
professional offices; retail stores; commercial clubs; service shops,
personal; service shops, light and banks or other financial institutions. No
new buildings or additions are permitted on the site.

BEING A ZONING BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That Section 22 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section
22.5 "Service Commercial (C3-4) Exception Zone (Urban)".
22.5.1 USES PERMITTED

3. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of
the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.
