BYLAW - Amend 2213 78 - 19870625 - 292487BY-LAW NUMBER 2924-87
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A ZONING BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That Section 29 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section
29 .4.8.
"Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 29.2 .1 the minimum 1 ot
frontage for the lands zoned RU-5 on Map 1 of Schedule 'A' shall be
nil, and the minimum lot area shall be 0.89 ha. All other provisions
of Section 29 shall apply.
2. That Schedule 'A' is hereby amended by changing the zoning category on
the lands shown in hatching on Schedule 'A' attached hereto and
forming part of this By-law from "General Industrial (M2) Zone" to
"Rural General (RU-5) Zone".
3. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of
the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.

Explanatory Note
Re: Zoning By-law
By-law .H')t/-V has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law 2213-78 the By-law in effect in the Town of Aurora to permit
the following:
That the 0.29 ha parcel shown on the map below formerly zoned for industrial
use, may now be used for general agricultural purposes. This rezoning stems
from a small parcel of land being severed from lands zoned industrial and
added to an existing agricultural operation. The required lot frontage for
the newly added to lot shall be nil while the minimum lot area shall be 0.89
ha (2.1 acres). Access to the property from Industrial Parkway South is via
a private right-of-way.
