OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A ZONING BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law number 2213-78.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That the zoning category applying to the lands shown in hatching on
Schedule 'A' attached hereto and forming part of this By-law is hereby
amended from "R1 -Detached Dwelling First Density Residential" to "R6
-Row Dwelling Residential".
2. No part of this By-law will come into force until the provisions of
the Planning Act have been complied with, but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing thereof.

By-1 aw 2919-87 has the following purpose and effect:
To amend By-law Number 2213-7B the Zoning By-law in effect from "R1 -Detached
Dwelling First Density Residential Zone" to "R-6 -"Row Dwelling Residential
Zone". The R6 zone allows 1 dwelling unit for each 230 square metres ( 2,475
square feet) for row houses and 280 square metres (3,013 square feet) for link
houses and maisonettes. Set backs from all property lines must be 7.5
metres (24.6 feet). Units must have a minimum of 75 square metres (807 square
feet) a 1 though we are ad vi sed that the owner intends to construct 1 arger
units. The owner intends to construct 16 row houses on the property a lower
number than would be permitted under the R6 zone. The number of units is
controlled, however, because the property is partially within the flood plain.

Corporation on the 3rd day of September , 19_a:z_ was given in
the manner and form and to the persons prescribed by Ontario Regulation
404/83, made by the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under subsection 17 of
section 34 of The Planning Act (1983). I also certify that the 35 day
objection period expired on October 8,1987 and to this date no notice
of objection to the by-law has been filed by any person in the office of the
Clerk.
