BY-LAW NO. 2835-86
OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING a By-·law to approve the
acquisition of certain lands
from Laurel. Janette Vanderburgh
for the extension of Kennedy
Street, Aurora, Ontario.
WHEREAS by virtue of paragraph 193 (l) of the Municipal Act
R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 302, thi.s Corporation is empowered to
acquire lands required for the purposes of the Corporation;
AND WHEREAS Laurel Janette. Vanderburgh agreed to sell to this
Corporation the lands mentioned in Schedule "A" attached hereto;
AND WHEREAS this Corporation requlres those lands for the
extension of Kennedy Street, Aurora, Ontario and such other
purposes of the Corporation as may be from tirhe to tiJnebe.reafter
appropriate;
AND WHEREAS this Corporation purchased the lands mentioned in
Schedule "A" from Laurel Jonetee Vanderburgh by a Transfer/Deed
of Land dated November 18th, 1985 which was registered against
the title to the lands in the Land Registry Office for the
Registry Division of York Region (No. 65) on December 27th, 1985
as Instrument No. 387231.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of
Aurora hereby enacts as By-law No. 2835-86 of The Corporation
of the Town of Aurora the following:

THAT the lands mentioned in the Schedule "A" be acquired
by this Corporation for the purposes of this Corporation.
THAT the Mayor and Clerk of this Corporation be authorized
to sign and execute under the seal of The Corporation of
the Town of Aurora all documents necessary to efect the
purpose and works required for the acquisition of the
lands mentioned in Schedule "A" when clear title to the
lands is available.

All in singular that certain parcel or tract of land being
in the Town of Aurora (formerly in the Township of King),
in the Regional Municipality of York and Province of Ontario
and being composed of Part of Lot 79, Concession l, Aurora
(formerly Township of King) which lands are more particularly
described as Part No. 2 on a Plan deposited in the Land
Registry Office for the Registry Di~ision of York Region
(No. 65) as Plan No. 65R-8553, Aurora.
