Permits and prescribing fees.
Whereas , the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Aurora deems it necessary to amend By-law 2725-84;
Now therefore , the Municipal Council of the Corporat1Lon of the Town
of Aurora enacts as follows:
A new clause "(k)" be added to Schedule "A" to By-law 2725-84 to
read:
"(k) When a request is made of the Town for an :rnspection
as required under Section 2. 9 .l of the Ontkio
Building Code Regulation 583/83 and said work is not
ready for an inspection thus necessitatingja further
site inspection by the Town, a fee of twenty-five
dollars ($25.00) will be charged. Said fe~ to be
paid prior to the issuance of the occupancy permit."

RE Building Inspections
In October

I gave Council an update on the activity in the Building
I regarding work load and the inspection PfOcess.
In the memo to Planning Committee, October 10, 1985 1,which was later
adopted by Council, I alluded to the fact that Buil~ers were calling
for the required inspections, as per the Building Code, but the work
I was~ ready, thus necessitating another inspectio~. I said in my
memo that I was contemplating charging a $25.00 feeifor the extra
visit. This fee would be collected prior to the issuance of the
! occupancy permit.
