OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A ZONING BY-LAW
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-law Number 2213-78.
NOW.THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora enacts
as follows:
1. That Section 'A' is hereby amended for a period of not longer than
three years from the date of the passing of this By-law by changing
the zoning category applying to the lands shown in shading on
Schedule 'A' attached hereto and forming part of this By-law from "R5
-Special Mixed Density Residential Zone" to "R5-11 -Special Mixed
Density Residential Exception Zone".
2. Section 14.3 is hereby amended by adding the following as Section
14.3.10 "Special Mixed Density Residential R5-11 Exception Zone". The
existing building on the lands zoned "R-5-11" on Schedule 'A' may be
used for a supportive housing hostel for physically and emotionally
abused women and their children, for a period of no longer than three
years from the date of the passing of this By-law.
i) The maximum number of occupants residing on the premises
at any one time be no more than ten.
ii) That there be no additional on-site parking provided.
iii) That the rear yard of the property remain in it's natural
state as a play area for children.
3. No part of this By-law shall come into force until the provisions
of the Planning Act have been complied with but subject to such
provisions the By-law will take effect from the day of passing
thereof.

I, Colleen E. Gowan, hereby certify that the notice for By-law2874-86
of the Corporation of the Town of Aurora, passed by the Council of the
Corporation on the 2Oth day of October , 19__§_§_ was given in
the manner and form arid to the persons prescribed by Ontario Regulation
404/83, made by the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under subsection 17 of
section 34 of The Planning Act (1983). I also certify that the 35 day
objection period expired on November 24, 1986 and to this date no notice
of objection to the by-law has been filed by any person in the office of the
Clerk.
