OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF AURORA
BEING A BY-LAW to Prohibit or Regulate
the Erection of Signs or other
Advertising Devices, and the Posting of
Notices on Bui 1 dings or Vacant Lots
within the Municipality of the Town of
Aurora.
WHEREAS the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Aurora deems it expedient
to amend By-law number 2388-80.
NOW THEREFORE Municipal Council of the Town of Aurora enacts as follows:
1. NOTWITHSTANDING the provisions of Section 2, "Ground Signs", and
Section 8 (a) "Signs Permitted in Commercial Zones", nothing shall
prevent the following exceptions to the By-law:
(a) The property known as #147 Yonge Street North, Part of Lot 90,
Registered Plan 246, shall be permitted to have a wall, or canopy
sign for each tenant, each being a total of 28% of the exposed
wall area to which it is attached; and,
(b) The property known as #147 Yonge Street North, Part of Lot 90,
Registered Plan 246, shall also be permitted to have a pylon sign
with the longest dimension of sign face being 15 feet (4.6 metres).
All other provisions of By-law #2388-80 shall remain in full force and
effect.
2. THAT this By-law shall come into full force and effect upon the final
passing thereof.
